Arun Associates was established in 1976 as a proprietorship by Late Sh. Arun Kumar to cater to the “After Market” requirement of Automotive filters. Being a Visionary, he could foresee the exponential growth that the Automobile Industry was to witness in the coming years.

The business was started keeping in mind the requirement for filters for Ambassador car but soon he ventured into manufacturing of filters for other Brands Vehicles. Since then there is no stopping in his passion for innovation with new products being added to the portfolio continuously.

ZIP Filters starts its humble journey in a 1,500 sq. ft. workshop in India. Driven by a small team of passionate engineers, the company designs heavy-duty oil filters for Indian automotive engines, establishing a benchmark of durability and local manufacturing pride.

Rapid industrial growth across India demands reliable filtration. ZIP expands into air and fuel filters, setting up a state-of-the-art facility to meet the specifications of India’s premier original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

Entering the new millennium, ZIP Filters achieves ISO 9001 and QS-9000 certifications. The brand launches exports to Europe and Southeast Asia, competing directly with international manufacturers on build quality and high performance.
